“Stephen Casey was my student in a government class at LeTourneau University. He was more than that. He was a student who constantly challenged the moral values of those in government and sought a higher plane from those in government service.
While a student at LeTourneau, he answered my call to take part in the political system by being elected as the Republican Chairman of Gregg County Precinct 20. His conservative voice was the voice of reason at a time when a new leadership of the party tried to take the local party in a more liberal direction. Stephen Casey would have no part of that swing. He was a thorn in the side of the liberal branch of the party.
His unbending pro-life stand and moral values earned him a seat at the State Convention where, again, he was a voice for conservative causes.
Thank you, Stephen Casey, for your conservative leadership in the Republican Party of Gregg County.”

Keith Rothra, PhD; Chairman-Republican Party of Gregg County; USAF Major, Retired.

“In my personal capacity I heartily endorse Stephen Casey for Texas Representative from House District 52, and request that you please invite him to speak to your church or crowd.

Stephen and I attended graduate school together at Regent University in Virginia Beach, where he earned his Juris Doctor law degree, and he simultaneously earned his Masters Degree in Biblical Interpretation, while I studied toward my PhD in Theology.

Stephen is one of the most brilliant legal scholars I personally know, having earned both a Blackstone Fellowship and a highly competitive selection as clerk to the Texas Supreme Court. He also served 8 years in the Navy, so I was honored when Stephen stood with me in defense of military chaplains’ right to pray publicly “in Jesus name.” He understands the importance of defending religious liberty and our legal rights under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

I know Stephen Casey will stand as your advocate too, and he deserves our full support.

Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt

“The people of Williamson County deserve more than just another politician to represent them in Austin. They need a true statesman who will place their values and their concerns first, ahead of any political party or special interest. I truly feel the right candidate for that job is Stephen Casey, and it shows through from the moment he greets anyone with ‘How can I serve you better in Austin?’ …and then actually writes down their concerns. This is why I am proud to endorse Stephen Casey for House District 52, a man who embodies servant leadership.”

Eric Stratton; RN, Williamson County GOP

Stephen Casey is Conservative, Christian, and Committed.  I selected him as my law clerk at the Texas Supreme Court because of his strong academic credentials, his tireless work ethic, and his years of faithful service in the Navy.  Stephen gave a fair and thorough analysis to all sides on the difficult legal and policy issues that came before the Court.  He was also a good listener, and had the ability to connect with all kinds of people.  In my opinion, he would make an outstanding state representative from District 52.”

The Honorable Scott Brister; Former Justice of the Texas Supreme Court

“Stephen Casey is not simply pro-family.  He has specific proposals that could cut the divorce rate of Texas in half, reducing the number from nearly 80,000 in 2007 to about 40,000.  Since many marriages ending in divorce involve children, that would mean about 40,000 kids would not see their parents divorce, or 400,000 in a decade. It is hard to imagine any better legacy than that.  Equally important, here is a clear strategy to cut government costs by $800 million in the first year, and $1.6 billion in the second.  Why?  Divorce cost government about $20,000 per year in welfare, Medicaid, and various subsidies.
